Apple released iOS 7 recently with plenty of new features including; better ways to manage your data, improvements to Siri, stronger security tools, Control Center, automatic updates and more.
Apple’s iOS 7 brings a whole new design, with system controls being even easier and faster to access. Visually iOS 7 looks cleaner with changes to text, color and button shapes. iOS 7 does take some getting used to but the over-all look is sleeker and more uniformed as you move from screen to screen.
iOS 7 is compatible with some older iPhone models too which with its modern design will make your old iPhone seem new again.
Apples iOS 7 is compatible with the following:

- iPhone 4s
- iPhone 5
- iPod touch 5th generation 16GB
- iPod touch 5th generation 32GB/64GB
- iPad 2
- iPad with Retina display
- iPad mini

Here’s how to download and install iOS 7:
Tip: backup your iOS device before you begin.
Via Wi-Fi connection:
Go to Settings – General – Software Update.
Click the iOS 7 Download and Install button.
Tap to agree to Apple’s terms and conditions.
Apple will prompt you to connect your device to a power source to save battery whilst downloading, this is optional.
Once downloading has completed click the Install Now button.
Your device will then restart once the update has installed.
After-which you will be greeted with a ‘Hello’ screen.
Slide to setup and configure your iOS 7 install.
This will then take you through the basic steps to setup iOS 7 the way you want.
Once you have completed the configuration setup, you are now ready to start experiencing iOS 7!
First update iTunes to version 11.1 by opening iTunes and checking for updates if you haven’t already.
When you have updated iTunes, connect your iOS device to your computer.
In the top right corner of iTunes click on your device.
Next click Update.
A window will appear informing you that iOS 7 is available and would you like to download and update now.
Click the Download and Install button.
iOS 7 will now begin to download which can take some time (30mins-1hr in some cases).
Once it has completed downloading and installing, your device will restart and you will then be greeted with the ‘Hello’ screen.
Slide to configure the setup as above.
